Jackie Collins was right, when he said,
“Love does not appear with any warning signs. You fall into it as if pushed from a high diving board. No time to think about what’s happening. It’s inevitable. An event you can’t control. A crazy, heart-stopping, roller-coaster ride that just has to take its course.”
Falling in love was never in their plans. Until one day Faiha and Satvik just realized that they love each other too much. So, they spiced up their lives by confessing their feelings.
Spending time with each other was the best part of the day. But, a sense of fear always prevail in their relationship as one was a Muslim and other one a Marwadi. They neither knew how to tell their parents about their love nor wanted to sacrifice their love just because of the stupid difference in religions.
In their last year, both decided to tell their parents about their relationship.
When Faiha told her parents how she fell in love with Satvik, her parents were disappointed. They blamed themselves for sending her to Delhi and told her to never talk about that Hindu boy again. It was against their religion and the elders of the family will never approve of this relationship. Somewhere in her mind, Faiha was expecting this but she thought that her parents would support her just like all the times, but this time, their support was not on her side.
In Rajasthan, when Satvik reached his home. His parents informed him that they had fixed his wedding with one of his childhood friend. It was unbelievable, “How could they?” thought Satvik.
“It’s now or never. I ain’t going to live forever. I just wanna live while I’m alive. It’s my life, Faiha is my life. I can’t let her go without even trying. I have to tell my parents. I will tell them today only. ”
Determined Satvik told his parents about Faiha and their relationship. He told them how she had become an important and integral part of his life and it was difficult for him to survive without her. Also, her religion is not a matter of concern for him, he loved her.
Satvik’s parents were not at all happy with their son’s statement. They wanted him to marry his childhood friend. But, knowing how stubborn Satvik was, they decided to meet Faiha’s parents for once. So, the next weekend, they flew to Lucknow.
Unknown to Satvik’s efforts, Faiha was disheartened. She thought that her world had started collapsing. She would never gonna see Satvik again. Her parents started searching a potential groom for her. They didn’t want her to dwell into grief. They believed marriage was a solution to this infatuation. But deep inside, Faiha was broken, she was becoming weak and thoughts of committing suicide clouded her mind. She had no one to talk out her emotions.
Satvik was all prepared to talk to Faiha’s parents about their love. So, next day, he stepped out to go to Faiha’s house. The previous evening, a boy came to see Faiha. So, in the morning, when Faiha’s mom told her about the confirmation, she was done. She lost her control, out of her senses, went upstairs and stood on the edge of cliff. When, Satvik reached Faiha’s house, he saw something falling from the top.
It was Faiha….
