“I can’t tell this to my parents.”
“What will they think?”
“They will definitely not talk to me ever.”
“What should I do?”
“How can I let my parents down?”
“How can I let her down. After all, she loves me..”
“But, is her love more superior than my parents’ love?”
“Will my parents understand our love?”
With all these thoughts, Satvik’s mind was on a rollercoaster ride.
Satvik came from the Pink City, Jaipur. His parents were reluctant to send their only son all the way to Delhi. Being stubborn as a mule, he got his wishes granted and shifted to Delhi. He started pursuing B.Sc in Computer Science from Hindu college of University of Delhi.
While going through the news feed, Satvik came across an Instagram page.
“The shattered pieces of glass lying on the floor
My swelled hand still beating her heart’s door
“Just once love!!” I had asked for that alone
Saying No, the next minute she was all gone
I sat there numb feeling the heart throbbing pain
Moon fading in the sky, seeing me such insane.”
The poetry on the page was so mesmerizing and relatable that he went through all the other beautiful poems. He felt something magical about the creativity and couldn’t control his emotions. So, he instantly wrote the message
“Hey beautiful writer!
Your words are beyond the stage of beauty. They are mesmerizing and magical.”
and send it.
He wasn’t feeling satisfied even after receiving the gratitude back, so, his latent poet wrote a poem appreciating the efforts of the writer and send it. This exchange of gratitude and appreciation converted into personal messages.
When Satvik was in class 10, he proposed his long time crush and she agreed to be his partner in every crime. He was on cloud nine but silly him, never knew that the girl was cheating on him with his best friend. In beginning of class 12, he caught the bull’s eye and decided not to fall in love ever. So, he wasn’t exactly sure when it happened. Or even when it started. All he knew for sure was that right here and now, he was falling hard and he could only pray that she was feeling the same way.
